Aline Trautmann has been working as a consultant at the IPE since April 2024. At the IPE, she is mainly involved in the analysis of micro and macro data in order to analyse the impact of political and economic changes on the market.
Thanks to her impressive academic background, Aline brings in-depth expertise in economic and political science analysis. She holds a Master of Science in International Economics and Public Policy from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, which included a stay at the renowned Belgian Université catholique de Louvain, as well as a Bachelor in Political Science. She specialised in international economic relations, development economics including gender studies, the analysis of political systems and electoral research.
Before joining IPE, Aline gained valuable professional experience in analysing and consulting the IT services market. Her work focussed in particular on the public sector, sustainability, cybersecurity and the comprehensive analysis of the entire Austrian software and IT services market. This diverse experience has enabled Aline to develop a deep understanding of the interfaces between technology, business and politics.
