At IPE, he is mainly involved in the estimation and analysis of changes in consumer goods markets and consumer behaviour and the associated economic and health economic consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Lukas earned a master's degree in economics with a focus on competition and regulation from Heinrich Heine University in D\u00fcsseldorf. His focus was particularly on topics of microeconomics, industrial economics as well as microeconometrics.<br \/>\nLukas has experience in economic and quantitative strategy consulting, especially in consumer goods markets and regulatory issues. He is familiar with the empirical analysis of micro data, econometric modelling and the preparation of market forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>In previous positions, Lukas gained experience in the areas of transfer pricing and competition economics, e.g. in the context of cartel delineation and the estimation of cartel damages.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lukas Veit has been a consultant at the IPE since June 2021.
