Silke M. Maringer has been working for IPE Research Network since October 2016. Her fields of expertise are electric mobility, sustainable mobility, intelligent transport systems, energy and environmental economics.
She graduated from University of Trier (Germany) with a double degree in economics (M.Sc.) and business mathematics (B.Sc.) as well as a physics minor degree from Saarland University. Since then, she has been working as a research assistant at the ITS Research Group (FGVT) and works on several transdisciplinary environmental and transport research projects. In addition to the research field of future mobility, she is responsible for project management and project acquisition in the federal government and in the EU. In 2016, she started her PhD at the department of economics at Saarland University.
