Florian
Florian Fickler has been working as a consultant at IPE since September 2022. At IPE, he is mainly involved in the development and implementation of quantitative models, as well as data analysis.
Florian received his Master of Science in Economics from the University of Mannheim. During his studies, he focused on courses in quantitative methods as well as labor economics and public economics. Parallel to his studies, Florian worked as an assistant at the Chair of Applied Microeconomics and at the Center for European Economic Research (ZEW) where he supported projects on population and migration modeling. In his master's thesis, he used econometric methods to investigate whether unemployment affects crime rates using FBI data.
After graduating, Florian moved to Athens to work in an economic policy consulting firm. During his time in Greece, he participated in several international projects, gaining experience as a consultant.
