Cost-Utility Analysis (CUA)

We have carried out a model-based assessment of the long-term clinical and economic benefits of a patient monitoring system for heart failure.

Let’s discuss your project

Background

The aim was to demonstrate the long-term clinical and economic added value of a patient monitoring system for heart failure compared with standard care.

Our Approach

  • 1

Development of a model-based simulation for the patient monitoring system in heart failure.

  • 2

Quantification of incremental QALYs and costs compared with standard care.

  • 3

Derivation of health economic efficiency indicators for cross-indication comparison.

Result

Health economic efficiency indicators – incremental costs per QALY gained – were developed, enabling cross-indication comparisons and positioning within QALY-based HTA systems.
