Jens

Dr Jens Herold joined IPE in April 2023 as a project manager. Jens studied economics in Mainz, Bonn and Barcelona and completed his academic training in 2018 with a PhD on macroeconomic issues, especially monetary and fiscal policy, at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics (BGSE). In previous positions, Jens worked for several years on the staff of the German Council of Economic Experts ("5 Wirtschaftsweise") and in the research department of KfW Bankengruppe. His expertise lies particularly in the application and creation of quantitative macroeconomic models and forecasts.
